With fervour fondness and fun Independence Day celebration in AKSIPS-45

Independence was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect at AKSIPS 45 to mark the 70th year of freedom from the British rule. On this patriotic occasion Students showcased a colourful spectacle on India’s vision through their performance.
To commemorate the sovereignty of our nation, the Principal ,AKSIPS 45 Mrs. Harpreet Kaur unfurled the tricolor flag and all in unison sang the National Anthem and marked the patriotic fervour.
The Director, AKSIPS Group of Schools, Mr. Jasdeep Kalra inspired the students to value the scarifies made by the freedom fighters and to follow the path of dignity. The Principal of the school, Mrs. Harpreet Kaur, encouraged children to develop a feeling of Compassion for everyone they come in contact with, irrespective of the background. She said that there was a need to overcome apathy that sometimes stands out in small ways, in the day to day life. Without empathy, the Country will lose its lustre and there could be pain, even in glory.
Maninder Taneja and Aditi delivered informative speeches .Shivansh , Arshdeep Kaur and Kalash recited patriotic poems on the significance of the day. Jahnvi and Prabhjot shared interesting facts about the freedom struggle .The School Choir sang the Patriotic song that awakened everyone’s feelings towards the Mother Land. Ecstatic dance performances filled every heart with joy and patriotic fervour.
The cultural programme was followed by inter house Basketball matches. Cheers and chants from students amidst house colours, united for excellence, highlighted the sense of belonging and brotherhood amongst the young Aksipians.
Refreshing themselves with a treat from the school, the day was an experience of joy, freedom and unity in diversity.
